WORLD QUALITY DAY - REPORT

Quality Forum celebrated the World Quality Day on 12 November 2015, through a Seminar focused on the theme ‘Sweet Dreams’.  There were two prominent speakers on this occasion.  Dr. Amar Nath Chandrani, Sr. Vice President, Indofil Industries Ltd - QA, Indofil Industries Limited, Thane spoke on “ COCOA plant health management: Global and Indian Perspective ”.  Dr T.C.S.M. Gupta, Sr. Vice President-R&D, Quality and Technical, Apar Industries Limited, Rabale, Navi Mumbai spoke on " Recent quality trends in horticultural / agricultural spray oils : Sustainable technologies for integrated pest management ".

G. Natarajan, Chairman welcomed the Speakers, members and invitees and briefed them about the significance of the World Quality Day.  He also introduced the speakers and conducted the seminar.  Manoj Karkhanis, Jt. Secretary proposed a vote of thanks to all concerned.  Besides Quality Forum members, a number of Quality professionals graced this occasion as invitees.


AWARD  FOR LIFELONG  CONTRIBUTION  TO  QUALITY
Dr. A.K. Chakrabarty, Founder Director, National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories for his stellar role in structuring and propagating accreditation system for testing and calibration laboratories in India and harnessing the best talents of the country during its formative years thereby establishing NABL as a leading member of ILAC .
